How Legacta Came to Be
Legacta began in Bangkok in 2018, quietly. Its founder, Preeyaporn Charoensuk, had spent nearly fifteen years working alongside families navigating the practical side of inheritance — sitting across from people who were not confused by the emotions involved, only by the paperwork. What she noticed, consistently, was that much of the distress came not from the processes themselves but from the absence of clear, calm guidance at the beginning.
The idea was straightforward: create a service that explains things plainly, helps families bring order to their records before they urgently need them, and offers a considered space for people to set down the parts of their lives they most want to pass on. Not legal advice. Not financial planning. Simply the kind of thoughtful, unhurried support that most families never quite find.
Over the years, Legacta has worked with individuals and families across Bangkok and the wider Thailand region — expatriates preparing documentation before a long-planned return home, Thai families navigating the intersection of local inheritance customs and modern administrative requirements, and people who simply want their affairs to be clear and their stories to be heard.
The office remains small by design. Every engagement is handled with personal attention. We do not rush, we do not offer guarantees about outcomes, and we are honest about what falls outside our scope. When legal or financial advice is needed, we say so directly and help identify the right professionals to consult.

PDPA Compliance
All personal data shared with Legacta is handled in accordance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act. We collect only what is necessary and retain it only for as long as needed.
Document Confidentiality
Documents you share with us are used solely for the service in progress. They are never copied, retained beyond the engagement, or disclosed to any third party without explicit agreement.
Educational Scope Only
Legacta's services are educational and organizational in nature. We do not offer legal, financial, or professional advice, and we are careful to be clear about this distinction at every stage.
Plain Language Commitment
We write and speak plainly. Technical terms are always explained. If something is not clear, we rephrase it — because the value of any explanation lies entirely in how well it is understood.

About Our Approach
Estate Organization as an Act of Care
The decision to organize one's estate records, or to preserve personal stories and family history in a lasting form, is rarely made lightly. It usually comes from a quiet recognition — sometimes after a significant life event, sometimes simply after watching someone else navigate a difficult transition — that the people who matter most deserve to find things in order when the time comes.
At Legacta, we work with people at all points along this recognition. Some come with a clear sense of what they need. Others arrive with a folder of mixed documents, an uncertain feeling about where to start, and little else. Both are entirely normal, and both are exactly the right point at which to begin.
Bangkok's community of residents — local Thai families, long-term expatriates, international professionals — presents a particularly varied set of circumstances. Documents may be in multiple languages. Records may span multiple countries. Family structures may cross different legal traditions. Our work accommodates this variety without treating it as an obstacle. We organize what is there, explain what we find, and flag anything that might need professional attention without making assumptions about what that attention should conclude.
The legacy component of our work is, in some ways, the most personal. A legacy letter is not a legal document. It carries no binding authority. What it carries instead is something a legal document rarely can: the particular texture of a person's voice, their way of putting things, the things they most want the next generation to understand about who they were and what they cared about. This is the kind of record that families tend to hold on to far longer than any formal paperwork.
